Victims of the April 9th Tornado
Mena Lions Club and Lions Clubs International is accepting applications for assistance to victims of the April 9th tornado that hit Mena and Polk County .
The assistance will be in the form of vouchers that can be redeemed at area business(s).
The vouchers can be redeemed for immediate needs such as food, clothing, medical supplies, small cooking needs (pots, pans & eating utensils), and sanitation supplies. NO ALCOHOL, TOBACCO OR OTHER LUXURY ITEMS may be purchased with the voucher.
Voucher cannot be exchanged for a gift certificate, and no change will be returned.
Individuals can redeem the vouchers ONLY at the Vendor designated that will be determined during the application process.
Applications for assistance can be made with the assistance of Lions Club members at:
Ouachita Baptist Association
1200 College Ave. (Across from RMCC)
Tuesday and Thursdays 1:30 – 3:30 PM (Beginning Thurs, April 22)
